The Inspector has resumed the Examination of the Cheshire East Local Plan (which includes development in Handforth, Poynton and Wilmslow) following submission by the council of Hello additional evidence and information requested by the grzywa Inspector. The additional work includes a Green Belt assessment and further assessment of employment and housing needs in Cheshire East. The first hearings were held from 21 to 30 October. The Inspector will now decide whether the revised Plan can proceed through the next stages, which will include another round of public consultation.
