The 2016 Annual General Meeting and Neighbourhood Plan Update

The Forum is a democratic and representative body which acts in the interests of Woodford residents. The AGM will bring you up to date with some of the work the Forum has been doing on behalf of residents. Residents and visitors are welcome.
Membership
Residents of Woodford, excluding the Redrow development, which is not part of our Neighbourhood Area, are automatically entitled to be a member. You can sign up via our email address or on the evening of the AGM. Membership of the Forum will ensure that you are updated regularly and provide a platform for your input. It is not onerous and does not necessarily require anything other than membership.
Management Committee
There are vacancies on the Management Committee which meets at regular intervals. Any resident who wishes to be involved in the committee would be more than welcome. Contact us via our email address.
Neighbourhood Plan Update
The main purpose of the Forum is the preparation of a Neighbourhood Plan which, if approved by residents in a referendum, must be taken into account by Stockport Council (SMBC) when reviewing planning applications relating to the Neighbourhood Area. The Management Committee is currently developing draft policies for inclusion in the Neighbourhood Plan. We will be consulting you on these draft proposals this year before proceeding further.
