During the current Covid-19 Emergency we are using this website to provide useful information for Woodford residents. Woodford Community Centre, Woodford Neighbourhood Forum and Woodford Community Council are working together to try to support the Woodford Community. Our websites will carry similar information.

Woodford Neighbourhood Plan

Woodford Neighbourhood Plan 2019 is now part of the Development Plan for Stockport Council following the completion of the appropriate stages of the Plan. As a  recently made Plan, it is fully compliant with current national and borough planning policies and now carries weight in the decision making process on planning applications.

The Forum was formally approved by Stockport Council on 17th October 2013. Woodford Neighbourhood Forum (WNF) was formed, principally, to encourage responsible development in Woodford whilst protecting the Green Belt. In 2018, it was redesignated by the council for a further five years until October 2023.

Please have a good look round the website, you will find full details of how the Forum began, its constitution, how it operates, what is going on right now and what plans for the future look like.
